I’m an international doctor. Where should I start?
Start with the step you are trying to clarify. If your registration route is uncertain, explore PassGP AHPRA support. If you already know your assessment requirement, choose the relevant exam page to compare preparation options. Medical English coaching and workforce support have their own service pages.
Does every international medical graduate need to sit the AMC exams?
No. Assessment requirements depend on your qualifications and registration pathway. For example, eligible Competent Authority applicants do not need to sit AMC examinations. Confirm the route that applies to you before choosing exam preparation, using current Medical Board guidance and individual advice where needed.
What is the difference between AMC and PESCI preparation?
AMC preparation focuses on the MCQ and Clinical examination formats. PESCI preparation focuses on explaining clinical reasoning, communication and safe practice in a role-specific interview. Choose the preparation that matches the assessment you have been advised to undertake.
Can I prepare with PassGP while I am overseas?
You can access your enrolled online learning resources through the web and PassGP App. Check the schedule for live teaching and agree appointment times for individual sessions, including the relevant time zone.
Is every resource or service included in an exam package?
Inclusions depend on the examination, package and access period you choose. Live teaching allowances, mock examinations and AI tools vary by enrolled resource. Registration consultations, Medical English coaching and bespoke orientation have their own service arrangements. Standalone 1:1 teaching does not include platform access.
Can PassGP support our organisation or our GP registrars?
Yes. PassGP develops bespoke orientation programs for health services, governments and healthcare organisations. GP supervisors and educators can also explore dedicated resources for teaching, case discussion and registrar examination preparation. Contact the team to discuss the support your workforce needs.
