Your Questions Answered

What can I use the PassGP Online Community for?

You can find a study partner, discuss difficult or controversial cases, share revision ideas and raise questions with the PassGP Examiners. There is room for social posts and getting to know other doctors too.

For example, you could ask peers how they fit revision around work or discuss a case you found challenging.

Where do I access the community, and can I use it on mobile?

You can use the community through the website or PassGP App, including social posting in the app. Existing community members can open the PassGP member area.

If you are choosing a trial, check the included resources for your examination pathway. Keep case discussions free of identifying patient details and use appropriate professional channels for confidential clinical information.

How could I find a study partner and make shared practice useful?

You can use the community to find a study partner, connect virtually with other doctors, share revision ideas and discuss difficult cases. Introduce yourself to peers with related preparation goals and discuss whether your availability and study priorities align. Peer practice works best when both people understand what they want to achieve together.

As a practical approach, explain which examination you are preparing for, the skill you want to practise and the sort of arrangement you are seeking. If you organise a session, agree on a task before you begin: discussing why an MCQ option fits, rehearsing a clinical explanation or reviewing a revision plan. Finish by identifying something each person will work on next. Arrange a follow-up session if you both find the approach useful.

Can I raise an examiner query in the community?

Yes. You can raise questions with the PassGP Examiners and discuss the reasoning behind a case. Include the exam task, the point you are unsure about and what you have already checked.

Individual teaching and feedback on your performance are available through separately booked personal tutorials.
